Light and medium tanks
Panzer 38 (t)
Description
In the initial period of the Second World War, this tank was better known as the LT vz.38Light Tank, developed for the Czech army.
By March 1939 it had enjoyed three production runs. After the occupation of Czechoslovakia by Nazi Germany, production naturally continued, but the tank was newly designated as the Rz.Krfw.38 (t) Ausf. A.
The thickness of its armor ranged from 10 to 25mm.
In 1941 it was on the front lines, at which time about 623 had been produced. By the end of the year, almost all of them had been destroyed. Nevertheless, even the early production models boasted decent guns and armor.
