Journalists on “Blitzkrieg 3”

29.01.2015

A press-tour devoted to “Blitzkrieg 3” was held, when the journalists were able to build the in-game military defense, choose their weaponry and destroy the enemies with their own hands. They also tried to complete a single player campaign, which will be a treat for the faithful fans of Blitzkrieg franchise.

Here are some fragments of the battlefield reports:

Nival wants to evolve the formula found in previous entries in meaningful ways while not forgetting why fans got intoBlitzkriegin the first place. This “new and fresh” approach, as Nival boss Sergey Orlovskiy put it, takes familiar World War II-themed strategy and mixes in a touch of MMO style (GameCrate).

offers something to draw in both jaded mobile strategy players looking for something more than just timing and click precision in their strategy game, as well as older gamers that loved growing up on RTS games but don’t have the time to dedicate to half hour plus head-to-head brutal battles (MMOhuts).

I honestly think Nival is smart to show off the asynchronous multiplayer first because it's probably the feature that has the most promise. It's essentially an infinite supply of custom maps, crowd-sourced from the user base. Infinite replayability (PCworld).
