Tank Hangar

This building enables you to build a wide range of vehicles. Upgrade your tank hangar to access new technology and units from later periods of the war.

In 1940, the United States government began the rearmament program. As part of the rearmament, W. S. Knudsen, president of General Motors, joined the Advisory Committee on National Defense. He agreed with K. T. Keller, president of Chrysler, to lease the land for the construction of a new tank factory, which would also serve as an armory. As a result of these negotiations, medium tanks would be produced by five companies: Chrysler, American Locomotive Company, Baldwin Locomotive Works, Prest Steel, and Pullman-Standard.
